Situated in the heart of the Sancerre region, the 17 hectares of Domaine Martin are spread primarily around Chavignol, the local township famous in France for its goat cheese. Some of the estate’s vines are planted on terroir that is already well-known and highly reputable, such as Les Monts Damnés and Le Cul de Beaujeu. Martin's son, Pierre, settled into day-to-day life of the family winery around ten years ago, and continues to preserve the historic traditions that his ancestors installed in the generations before him. The estate is in the process of converting to organic viticulture.
