Clos de la Meslerie is situated around 15 kilometres from Tours in the Loire Valley, producing white wines under the renowned and reputable Vouvray appellation. The wine is natural and the grapes are organic.
Clos de la Meslerie has a rich history. The buildings which are located in amongst the vines date back to the 17th century, and the vines age between 20 and 60 years.
Originally from the United States, vigneron Peter Hahn brought the Clos in 2002, after spending ten years in finance and strategic business consulting. Having already settled in France, Peter wanted a change of scene, to work with his hands and nature, to be creative, and create something tangible, unique and long lasting.
