For those who do not know me, I am first and foremost the Director of Vini Be Good, since 2005. My passion for wine and a good basis of experience and training have allowed me to win the confidence of the winemakers within the group and clients who have encouraged and supported me to take up this post.
Since 2014, I have taken the plunge and here I am - a winemaker!
Based in Chinon, I am able to learn about the science of the vine on a plot of a half hectare, cultivated through organic viticulture
For the actual winemaking aspects, I am able to use a small “troglodyte”, which are typical caves built into the hillsides or underground in this region. The fermentation is in vats and the maturation in 500L barrels. My goal has always been to firstly produce a quaffable and easy drinking wine (Serial Drinker) and then broaden the range to include “Les Picasses” and “Clos Guillot” as well as a white wine from the Chinon appellation.
I hope that you enjoy my wines as much as I enjoyed making them. Les Mains Rouges is still a small project, with only a few thousand bottles produced. The harvesting and the packaging is does with friends and family.
