In 2001, Christophe Ferrandis came across two little pieces of hilly terrain, composed of blue marl and shale-limestone, in the middle of the Poggio d’Oletta plain. For Christophe, these two pieces of land seemed to have both everything and nothing, all at the same time.
There were two small hills gradually rising up in the middle of this plain, rich and diverse in soil, and completely coverd in old vines.
It was in some ways fate that Christophe came across this land on the day that he did. Clos Signadore was born from this fleeting union between old Corsican land planted with niellucciu vines, and Christophe, a Marseille local, completely enamored with the Patrimonioterroir.
