Domaine de Belliviaire covers in total 13 hectares across the Jasnières and Coteaux du Loir appellations. The vineyard parcels, situated across 5 different villages (l’Homme, Ruillé sur Loir, Chahaignes, Marçon and Dissay-sous-Courcillon) offer different expressions of terroir which contribute to the richness and diversity of the estate’s wines.
The domaine began to manually cultivate and work the vines, and little by little, parcel by parcel, the vineyard and winery team began to notice a difference in both the health of the grape and the soil. The vine had begun to develop a natural resistance, and from 2008 onwards, the entirety of the estate was converted to biodynamic viticulture.
